Efficacy of hybrid blood purification for SA-AKI subtypes identified by CCL14: study protocol for a single-centre randomized controlled clinical trial.
(PubMed, Trials)
- P=N/A | "This study aims to explore the impact of the HBP therapy on the 30-day all-cause mortality rate of patients with SA-AKI subtypes recognized by CCL14, providing relatively reliable research evidence for determining the optimal treatment approach for patients with persistent severe SA-AKI in clinical practice."

Phylogenetic Analysis of Streptococcus pneumoniae Invasive Pneumococcal Disease Isolates in Canada, 2018-2020
(ASM Microbe 2025)
- "GPSCs were associated with specific STs and serotypes: GPSC12 (ST180; serotype 3), GPSC3 (ST62, ST100, ST53; serotypes 33F, 11A, 8), GPSC19 (ST433; serotype 22F), GPSC27 (ST695; serotypes 4, 19A), and GPSC6 (ST3811, ST162; serotypes 15A, 24F). AMR was most common to azithromycin (27%), sulfamethoxazole (14%), penicillin (13%), doxycycline (10%), clindamycin (9%), cefuroxime (7%), and ceftriaxone (4%)...This study provides insights into the genetic makeup and antimicrobial resistance patterns of S. pneumoniae, revealing associations between GPSCs, STs, and serotypes linked to NVT emergence and VT persistence. MDR observations among both NVT and VT highlights selective pressures that may influence their prevalence, offering a framework to address IPD dynamics through genomic surveillance and to guide clinicians in antibiotic selection."

Modulation of stretch activation influences the stretch-shortening cycle effect in in vivo human knee extensors.
(PubMed, Physiol Rep)
- "Following shortening, ST100%-SC exhibited greater residual force depression during the isometric phase, despite similar activation. These findings demonstrate that voluntary activation during stretch modulates SSC effect through a complex interplay involving muscle-tendon unit decoupling and history-dependent effects, fascicle dynamics, and tendon compliance."

Prevalence, Molecular Characterization, and Antimicrobial Resistance Profile of Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli Isolates from Pig Farms in China.
(PubMed, Foods)
- "Results show that multi-locus sequence typing (MLST) outputs (ST88, ST100) and serotypes (O9:H19, O116:H11, O149:H10) exhibited enhanced virulence, with F18ab-fimbriated strains carrying Shiga toxin genes (stx2A) demonstrating higher cytotoxicity than non-stx strains...These results highlight the urgent need for precision interventions, including vaccines targeting epidemic serotypes and AMR monitoring systems to disrupt resistance propagation across swine production networks. By underscoring the importance of current virulence and AMR profiles, this study provides actionable strategies to mitigate ETEC-associated threats to both animal welfare and meat safety ecosystems."

Dissemination of Staphylococcus epidermidis in Swedish bovine dairy herds: minimal overlap with human isolates.
(PubMed, Front Microbiol)
- "ST99, ST100, and ST570 were the most common among bovine isolates, collectively accounting for 49% (63/128) of the milk isolates and detected on multiple farms, while ST2 and ST215 were the most prevalent among human isolates...However, the persistence of certain STs across multiple dairy farms suggests inter-farm transmission. This study provides new insights into the epidemiology of bovine S. epidermidis IMI, with implications for the control of these infections."

Molecular characterisation of Mycoplasma bovis isolates from consecutive episodes of respiratory disease on Dutch veal farms.
(PubMed, Vet Microbiol)
- "The isolates belonged to 9 different clusters and to the known MLST sequence types ST4 (n=9), ST6 (n=2), ST7 (n=1), ST8 (n=1), ST21 (n=32), ST29 (n=30), ST32 (n=1), ST100 (n=36), ST122 (n=17) and ST135 (n=4), and new sequence types ST222 (n=8), ST223 (n=1), ST224 (n=5) and ST225 (n=1)...This study underlines the complexity of M. bovis infection on veal calf farms with persistent presence of different types together in both healthy and diseased calves with or without other respiratory pathogens. Prevention of introduction of M. bovis and biosecurity measures combined with optimisation of calf resilience should have priority."

Performance Study of High-Speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with Amorphous Alloy Considering Temperature Effect.
(PubMed, Materials (Basel))
- "In this paper, the magnetization characteristics and iron loss characteristics of the AA and silicon steel (ST100) used for comparison are measured at different temperatures, and the iron loss separation of the two materials at different temperatures is completed, and the hysteresis loss coefficient and eddy current loss coefficient at different temperatures are obtained. On this basis, the performance simulation of a motor model is carried out. The more accurate simulation method proposed in this paper can provide a reference for the design of AA motors in industry."

Genomic Profiling of Multidrug-Resistant Swine Escherichia coli and Clonal Relationship to Human Isolates in Peru.
(PubMed, Antibiotics (Basel))
- "An isolate ETEC-O149:H10-ST100 was identified, considered a high-risk clone that is frequently reported in different countries as a cause of diarrhea in piglets...CgMLST + HierCC analysis differentiated three clusters, and in two, the human isolates were grouped with those of swine in the same cluster. We observed that Peruvian swine MDR E. coli cluster with Peruvian E. coli isolates from healthy humans and from clinical cases, which is of great public health concern and evidence that AMR surveillance should be strengthened based on the One Health approach."
