Chemist's early transition into biotech partnerships and venture diligence (ACS-Fall 2026) - "The first is a $50M biotech partnership between Flashpoint Therapeutics and KAIMRC, for which I built the pitch, anchored third-party technical diligence conversations on feasibility and differentiation, and contributed to the design of FLASH 002, the first antigen-specific candidate for HPV+ cancers...For each, I will discuss what the work actually entailed day-to-day, which parts of my scientific training transferred directly, which parts required relearning, and the programs and networks that made the transition navigable. The goal is to offer a concrete and honest account of one path from bench chemistry into business development and venture evaluation, for chemists considering similar directions."
