Head to Head Comparison of autologous Peripheral Blood Derived Stem Cells Therapy and Adipose Tissue Derived Stem Cells Therapy (PAST TRIAL) in Primary Osteoarthritis of Knee (ISPRM 2020) - "In PBSC group, the selected patients were received granulocyte colonizing stimulating factor (GCSF) inj. Filgrastim 30MU (Filastin, Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited) subcutaneously for 5 consecutive days to harvest peripheral blood derived stem cells and on day 5, about 20 ml stem cells were collected through apheresis. However, among both approaches, ATSC is slightly superior to PBSC on VAS and WOMAC scale at 6 months. Cartilage thickness was not changed a lot in either group."
