Chemical evolution of ASO-like DNAzymes for effective and extended gene silencing in cells.
(PubMed, Nucleic Acids Res)
- "Another promising class of gene-silencing oligonucleotides is RNA-cleaving nucleic acid enzymes, which offer the potential for allele-specific RNA inhibition with greater precision than ASOs and siRNAs...RACE (rapid amplification of cDNA ends) polymerase chain reaction and Sanger sequencing confirmed precise, site-specific mRNA transcript cleavage with minimal RNase H activation in cells. By merging ASO structural and pharmacokinetic advantages with DNAzyme catalytic versatility, these ASO-like 10-23 variants offer a promising new class of potent gene-silencing agents, representing a significant step toward therapeutic DNAzyme development."

Injection of Ortho-Functionalized Tetrafluorinated Azobenzene-Containing siRNAs into Japanese Medaka Embryos for Photocontrolled Gene Silencing.
(PubMed, Curr Protoc)
- "To the best of our knowledge, this marks the first reversible control of a gene-silencing oligonucleotide within an in vivo system...Current Protocols published by Wiley Periodicals LLC. Basic Protocol 1: Medaka maintenance and embryo collection Basic Protocol 2: Injection of stage-two one-cell medaka embryos Basic Protocol 3: Evaluation of the F-siRNA gene-silencing ability through light activation and inactivation using blue and green light by measuring enhanced green fluorescent protein fluorescence."

GSOOA-1DDRSN: Network traffic anomaly detection based on deep residual shrinkage networks.
(PubMed, Heliyon)
- "Additionally, it reduces the time computation costs by 20 % and 30 % on these datasets. Furthermore, compared to other models, GSOOA-1DDRSN offers superior classification accuracy and effectively reduces the number of features."

GSOAP: A tool for visualisation of gene set over-representation analysis.
(PubMed, Bioinformatics)
- "Here, we propose a visual exploration of the GSOA results by showing the relationships among the enriched instances; while highlighting important instance attributes, such as significance, closeness (centrality) and clustering. GSOAP is implemented as an R package and is available at https://github.com/tomastokar/gsoap."

Azobenzene-containing photoresponsive siRNAs
(ACS-Sp 2019)
- "siRNAs are gene-silencing oligonucleotides that have an important role in biotechnology and as modern therapeutics...Cell transfection of an inactive siRNazo. The siRNAzos can be reversibly activated and inactivated with visible light and UV light, respectively, in cell culture, thus enabling an event where timed gene-silencing via siRNAzo can be controlled."
