Immunogenicity of one dose and two doses of adjuvanted influenza vaccine in lung transplant candidates.
(PubMed, PLoS One)
- "This study assessed the safety and immunological effectiveness of an inactivated trivalent polymer-subunit influenza vaccine Grippol® Plus administered according to two regimens in a group of 41 patients with severe progressive bronchopulmonary disorders...At month 12 post-vaccination, Ab levels returned to baseline, regardless the vaccination regimen. In lung transplant candidates, one-dose vaccination with an inactivated trivalent polymer-subunit influenza vaccine was effective in generating protective antibody levels for the current influenza season."

Effect of Influenza Immunization With Inactivated Trivalent Polymer-subunit Vaccine in Lung Transplant Recipients
(ATS 2023)
- "Patients received immunosuppressive therapy, that included calcineurin inhibitors, antimetabolites (mycophenolate mofetil), and systemic glucocorticosteroids. For vaccination, an inactivated polymer-subunit vaccine "Grippol@plus" (Petrovax Pharm LLC) was used, which contains in one dose (0.5 ml) hemagglutinins of 3 strains of the influenza virus in amount of 5 μg of each hemagglutinin and 500 μg of the immunoadjuvant azoximer bromide. Influenza vaccination of lung transplant recipients with inactivated polymer-subunit vaccine with reduced amount of antigens is safe and induces high levels of seroprotection."

Low-dose influenza vaccine Grippol Quadrivalent with adjuvant Polyoxidonium induces a T helper-2 mediated humoral immune response and increases NK cell activity.
(PubMed, Vaccine)
- "Polyoxidonium without AGs also induced expression of ICOSL, which plays an important role in T-dependent humoral immune response. In summary, the low-dose influenza vaccine GQ with Polyoxidonium adjuvant is immunogenic, induces a Th2-polarized T-cell response and CD4 memory T cells maturation, activates the production of antibodies to influenza hemagglutinins, and increases the activity of NK cells."

Structural Analysis of Peripheral Organs of the Immune System in the Assessment of Grippol Vaccine Safety.
(PubMed, Bull Exp Biol Med)
- "The structural morphological dynamics of lymphoid tissue under these conditions is shown. Because of the use of the vaccine, the lymphocytopoietic processes in the body are activated, which indicates the formation of an immune response."
