Tomatoes expressing the 6F Peptide Ameliorate the Increase in Oxidized Phospholipids in the Jejunum of Mice Fed Unsaturated Lysophosphatidylcholine or Western Diet.
(PubMed)
- "Tg6F decreased inflammatory cells in the villi of the jejunum, decreased dyslipidemia, and decreased systemic inflammation in LDLR null and WT mice on both diets. We conclude that Tg6F reduces diet-induced inflammation, by reducing the content of unsaturated LysoPC and oxidized phospholipids in the jejunum of mice."

Lipidome as a predictive tool in progression to type 2 diabetes in Finnish men.
(PubMed, Metabolism)
- "This study indicates that a lipid signature characteristic of T2DM is present years before the diagnosis and improves prediction of progression to T2DM. Molecular lipid biomarkers were shown to have predictive power also in a high-risk group, where standard risk factors are not helpful at distinguishing progressors from non-progressors."

Genetic Distances Within-Population and Between-Population of Tonguesole, Cynoglossus spp. Identified by PCR Technique.
(PubMed, Dev Reprod)
- "The six oligonucleotides primers OPA-11, OPB-09, OPB-14, OPB-20, OPC-14, and OPC-18 were used to generate the unique shared loci to each tonguesole population and shared loci by the two tonguesole populations...The potential of PCR analysis to identify diagnostic markers for the identification of two tonguesole populations has been demonstrated. As a rule, using various oligonucleotides primers, this PCR method has been applied to identify polymorphic/specific markers particular to species and geographical population, as well as genetic diversity/polymorphism in diverse species of organisms."
