Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical’s subsidiary Fosun Pharmaceutical Industrial Development (Shenzhen) has obtained approval from China’s National Medical Products Administration to begin clinical trials of FXR0906, a liver-targeted siRNA therapy for hypertriglyceridemia. Fosun Pharma…has received the approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for the clinical trial of FXR0906 (the 'Drug') for the treatment of Hypertriglyceridemia (Fosun Pharma Press Release) - "Fosun Pharma (Shenzhen) intends to commence the Phase 1 clinical trial of the drug in Chinese mainland (excluding Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan region) when the conditions are fulfilled....The clinical study of FXR0906 in Chinese mainland will include a Phase 1 bridging study and subsequent clinical studies, designed to evaluate the drug’s safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in Chinese patients with HTG."
