Differential expression of disparate transcription factor regime holds the key for NK cell development and function modulation.
(PubMed, Life Sci)
- "Nfil-3, Id-2, Ets-1, GATA-3, and Eomes are TFs varying in abundance in peripheral NK (pNK) and uterine NK cells (uNK), which further highlights the functional variations in the two subsets of NK cells. GATA-3 mediated regulation of IFN-γ production, NK cell maturation, protection against pathogens, and regulation of expression of inhibitory NK cell receptor (NKG2A), exemplifies a potential mechanism for immune-modulation, involving NK cells. This review highlights the differences in the regulation of TFs in pNK and uNK cells, which can be crucial for development of novel immune-therapeutics."

Altered dynamics in the circadian oscillation of clock genes in serum-shocked NIH-3T3 cells by the treatment of GYY4137 or AOAA.
(PubMed, Arch Biochem Biophys)
- "We analysed the expression of Per1, Per2, Per3, Bmal1, Cry1, Cry2, Nr1d1, Nfil-3 and Dbp messenger RNA (mRNA) in serum-shocked NIH-3T3 cells treated with a slow-releasing HS donor (GYY4137) or the cystathionine beta-synthase (CBS) inhibitor (AOAA) cultured under constant darkness and collected during 3 days in 3 h interval...On the other hand, increased HS decreased Per2 expression. These data suggest that CBS can affect circadian clock and effect on clock-controlled transcription output."

Natural Compounds as Sustainable Additives for Biopolymers.
(PubMed, Polymers (Basel))
- "nFil..., such as phenols, polyphenols, vitamins, and carotenoids. However, in this short review, the advantages and drawbacks, considering naturally occurring compounds as safe, eco-friendly, and sustainable additives for biopolymers, have been focused and discussed briefly, even taking into account the requests and needs of different application fields."

An Inhibitor of Casein Kinase 1ε/δ (PF670462) Prevents the Deterioration of Dextran Sodium Sulfate-induced Ulcerative Colitis Caused by UVB Eye Irradiation.
(PubMed, Int J Biol Sci)
- "...Conversely, the nuclear factor, interleukin 3 regulated (NFIL-3) levels in the colon were lower after UVB eye irradiation. The Casein Kinase 1ε/δ inhibitor (PF670462) administration, which is a Clock/Bmal1 inhibitor (PER2 activator), inhibited the deterioration caused by UVB eye irradiation. These results suggest that the UVB eye irradiation-mediated exacerbation of DSS-induced ulcerative colitis depends on IL-17 produced in response to alterations in clock genes."

NFIL-trating the Host Circadian Rhythm-Microbes Fine-Tune the Epithelial Clock.
(PubMed, Cell Metab)
- "Wang et al. (2017) have described a signaling circuit linking microbial sensing by the immune system to the epithelial clock, thereby orchestrating local and systemic lipid metabolism."
