These findings suggest that hormone therapy may offer potential benefits for preserving ocular surface homeostasis in menopausal women experiencing sleep or circadian rhythm disturbances."

Severe hyperandrogenism in an adolescent with polycystic ovary syndrome and suspected late-onset adrenal hyperplasia – case report (ISGE 2026) - " Laboratory findings: DHEA-S 1066 μg/dL, total testosterone 1.122 ng/mL, calculated free testosterone 3.8, SHBG 5.9 nmol/L (low), progesterone <0.5 ng/mL, 17-hydroxyprogesterone 1.84 ng/mL (borderline)...THERAPEUTIC APPROACH: Initiated ethinylestradiol 0.03 mg + drospirenone 3 mg (21+7 regimen) for menstrual regulation and ovarian androgen suppression, combined with cyproterone acetate 50 mg in the first 10 days of each cycle for 3 months, followed by spironolactone 50 mg daily... This case underscores the complexity of differentiating severe PCOS from LOCAH in adolescents with marked hyperandrogenism. HISTOLOGICAL INJURY PATTERNS IN CHILDREN WITH DRUG-INDUCED LIVER INJURY (AASLD 2025) - "Causative agents were minocycline (5), azithromycin (3), atomoxetine (3), lamotrigine (2), and nicotine, drospirenone/estradiol, Trikafta, carbamazepine, doxycycline, infliximab, amoxicillin, amoxicillin/clavulanate, and isoniazid (1 each). Solvothermally Grown Oriented WO3 Nanoflakes for the Photocatalytic Degradation of Pharmaceuticals in a Flow Reactor.
