Investigation of novel nucleoside analogues as anticancer agents for the treatment of pancreatic cancer
(ACS-Fall 2022)
- "The leading treatment for pancreatic cancer, gemcitabine, has many issues associated with delivery due to the hydrophilic nature of the two fluorines located on the 2’ Carbon of the ribose...In addition, these analogues are involved in interactions with important amino acids such as S202, A605, and T607 in the active site of RNR. PASS prediction and ADMET revealed these compounds as non toxic and non carcinogenic. These results suggested that these analogues can be proposed as potential candidates for the treatment of PDAC and are worth further in vitro and in vivo investigations."

[VIRTUAL] Mass-action law based general pharmacodynamics theory and algorithm for quantitative computer simulation of drug-evaluations in cells, in animals and in clinical trials
(AACR-II 2020)
- "Anti-cancer Combos (Taxotere+T607, against HCT-116 colon carcinoma xenograft in nude mice), both used only 10 data points and both achieved quantitative determination of Synergism. This report reaffirm Example 2 with the same drug combos against MX-1 mammary carcinoma xenograft in nude mice, using only 10 data points, showed similar synergy at ED75 to ED97, CI= 0.82-0.79 for MX-1, and CI= 0.98-0.64 for HCT-116."

Multilocus sequence typing of Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli isolates from poultry, cattle and humans in Nigeria.
(PubMed)
-
J Appl Microbiol
- "This study highlights the genetic diversity of Campylobacter strains in Nigeria, demonstrating that C. jejuni and C. coli isolates are diverse and have both local and global strains. The predominant sequence types and clonal complexes found in this study differ from other countries; this exemplifies that different predominant Campylobacter populations exist between countries."

Synthesis and photoluminescence of novel red-emitting ZnWO4: Pr(3+), Li(+) phosphors.
(PubMed)
- "The enhanced luminescence comes from the improved crystalline and from the charge compensation of Li(+) ions. The decay curve and CIE chromaticity coordinates of as-prepared samples are also studied in detail."

[VIRTUAL] General pharmacodynamics algorithm-based clinical protocol design with two to three dose-data points for single-drug, and ten data points for two-drug-combination synergy quantification, using computer simulation for digitalized data analysis and conclusions
(AACR-I 2020)
- "Anti-cancer Combos (Taxotere+T607, against HCT-116 colon carcinoma xenograft in nude mice), both used only 10 data points and both achieved quantitative determination of Synergism. In conclusion, the MAL-PD/BD and its equations, algorithms and computer simulation provide a rigorous, cost-effective, automated, quantitative biomedical R and D and general drug evaluation guidance in clinical trial design and data analysis, that save resources, time and efforts."
