Utility of cerebrospinal fluid multiplex polymerase chain reaction assay in children suspected of meningitis or encephalitis in a tertiary care hospital in Thailand.
(PubMed, IJID Reg)
- "The ME panel is a reliable tool for supporting the management of CNSinfections due to its high specificity and rapid turnaround time. However, the diversity ofpathogens that cause CNS diseases poses a challenge to its use in tropical countries."

First-in-human evidence of multidrug resistance reversal in solid tumors: a cohort analysis of carbon nanoparticles‑Fe(II) complex trials.
(PubMed, BMC Cancer)
- P1 | "This case series provides preliminary clinical evidence that CNSI-Fe could weaken MDR and resensitize solid tumors to systemic therapy. These findings warrant biomarker-integrated expansion cohorts and Phase II trials of CNSI-Fe-based combinations with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy."

Photothermal-immunotherapy of colon carcinoma by carbon nanoparticle-Fe(II) complex with immunoadjuvant.
(PubMed, Colloids Surf B Biointerfaces)
- "As the only ferroptosis-based nanomedicine under clinical trial evaluation, carbon nanoparticle-Fe (II) complex (CNSI-Fe) not only induces ferroptosis in tumor cells, but also serves as photothermal conversion agents for tumor photothermal therapy...The combination treatments showed acceptable toxicity during in vivo evaluations. Our study offered a translatable strategy for next-generation ISV and would hopefully benefit the patients in near future."
