Determination of Prostaglandins (Carboprost, Cloprostenol, Dinoprost, Dinoprostone, Misoprostol, Sulprostone) by UHPLC-MS/MS in Toxicological Investigations.
(PubMed, Toxics)
- "Prostaglandins have stimulative influence on the human uterus and therefore were introduced to medical treatment in reproductive healthcare as labor inductors or abortifacients. Misoprostol and diclofenac dose per sample were as follows: 608.8 ng (sample 1), 708.4 ng (sample 2), 618.8 ng (sample 3) and 67.7 mg (sample 1), 65.3 mg (sample 2) 67.3 mg (sample 3), respectively. A simple, precise and reliable method can be applied for routine examinations in terms of clinical and forensic toxicology examinations as well as in quality control of drugs for pharmaceutical purposes (original drugs and counterfeit medications)."

Magnetic Resonance-Guided High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound Ablation of Uterine Fibroids-Efficiency Assessment with the Use of Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging and the Potential Role of the Administration of Uterotonic Drugs.
(PubMed, Diagnostics (Basel))
- "We demonstrated a correlation between dynamic contrast enhancement curve types and the therapeutic efficacy of MR-HIFU. Our results suggest that DCE-MRI has the potential to assess treatment outcomes among patients with UFs, and patients with UFs that present with a washout curve may benefit from the use of uterotonic drugs. More studies are required to draw final conclusions."

Oxytocin and Misoprostol With Diclofenac in the Preparation for Magnetic Resonance-Guided High-Intensity Ultrasound Treatment of Symptomatic Uterine Fibroids: A Prospective Cohort Study.
(PubMed, Ultrasound Med Biol)
- "The administration of vasoconstrictor drugs (oxytocin and misoprostol/diclofenac) to support MR-HIFU in UF treatment is a new issue that may improve the total effectiveness of this method. Randomized controlled trials are necessary to estimate the real effect of vasoconstrictors on MR-HIFU."

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROTECTIVE EFFECTS OF QUERTZETIN AND ITS WATER-SOLUBLE FORM CORVITIN IN THE MODEL OF DICLOFENAC-INDUCED GASTROPATHY
(PubMed, Georgian Med News)
- "Preventive administration of rats before diclofenac corvitin or quercetin was similar to reference drugs inhibiting the ulcerogenic effect of this NSAID, indicating a probable decrease in the number of destructions per gastric mucosa respectively at 78% and 76% against 82% under the action of omeprazole. Preventive administration of quercetin (corvitin) before diclofenac to the same extent as omeprazole promotes weaken the ulcerogenicity of this NSAID."
