RTM-1000: A Brain-Penetrant Clinical Candidate cGAS Inhibitor with Cross-Species Activity, Efficacy in Trex1⁻/⁻ Mice, and Potential for CNS Autoimmune Indications
(ACR Convergence 2026)
- "RTM-1000 is a differentiated clinical candidate cGAS inhibitor with cross-species activity and CNS penetrance. By blocking the most upstream node of the cGAS-STING pathway, RTM-1000 suppresses Type I IFN and TBK1/IRF3-driven inflammatory signaling with demonstrated efficacy across both peripheral and CNS compartments, representing a novel therapeutic approach for autoimmune and CNS diseases driven by aberrant cGAS-STING activation.
