Higher MELD-Na score at the time of a bleed was associated with a decreased likelihood of GV obliteration (OR=0.773 [95% CI=0.625-0.956], p=0.0175) and increased likelihood of early rebleeding (OR=1.210 [95% CI=1.017-1.440], p=0.0318)."
