mGluR4 PAM in combination with L-DOPA does not affect dopamine release in 6-OHDA model of Parkinson's disease (PD) in rats

- Presentation time: Sunday, Oct 14, 2012, 9:00 AM -10:00 AM; Administration of L-DOPA increased DA concentration in comparison to vehicle in 6-OHDA treated animals; Treatment with the mGlu4 PAM Lu AF21934 alone or Lu AF21934/L-DOPA combination had no effect on DA concentrations in 6-OHDA treated animals, which indicated absence of potentiating effect of mGlu4 receptor PAM on DA neurotransmission
