Model-based PsO-PsA bridging for PsA dose selection: a case study of the IL-17 small molecule inhibitor JNJ-81241459
(ACR Convergence 2026)
- "Randomized controlled trial data for IL-17 inhibitors (brodalumab, ixekizumab, secukinumab, and bimekizumab) were used to develop a longitudinal joint MBMA model linking PASI75 in PsO and ACR50 in PsA to enable across-indication bridging. The combined QSP/MBMA framework provided an approach for bridging from healthy volunteers to patients and across PsO and PsA indications. This work demonstrates the synergy between two approaches that are often used independently and shows that, together, they can optimize translational predictions to support dose selection."
