Comparison of Injection and Aspiration Performance of Multiple Microcatheters for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.
(PubMed, Catheter Cardiovasc Interv)
- "To our knowledge, this is the first comparison of injection efficacy and aspiration resistance among various microcatheters for PCI, providing practical guidance for microcatheter selection in complex PCI."

Identification and characterization of the critical genes encoding Cd-induced enhancement of SOD isozymes activities in Zhe-Maidong (Ophiopogon japonicus).
(PubMed, Front Plant Sci)
- "The molecular docking experiments performed on the interaction between oxygen ion (O2•-) and OjSOD protein have revealed that the critical amino acid residues involved in the binding of Cu/ZnSOD-22 to the substrate were Pro135, Ile136, Ile140, and Arg144. Our findings provide a solid foundation for additional functional investigations on the OjSOD genes, as well as suggestions for improving genetic breeding and agricultural management strategies to increase Cd resistance in O. japonicus."

Anthraquinone metabolites isolated from the rhizosphere soil Streptomyces of Panax notoginseng (Burk.) F. H. Chen target MMP2 to inhibit cancer cell migration.
(PubMed, J Ethnopharmacol)
- "Anthraquinone metabolites, from rhizosphere soil Streptomyces sp. of P. notoginseng, possess antitumor, antioxidant, antibacterial, and antiglycosidase activities. Moreover, metabolites 1 and 3 inhibit cancer cells migration through downregulating MMP2."

[VIRTUAL] WHAT IS THE AMYLOID PROTEIN IN CANINE MAMMARY TUMOR-ASSOCIATED AMYLOIDOSIS?
(ISOA 2020)
- "Amyloid fibrillization was evaluated using synthetic partial peptides (Glu64-Arg96, Phe108-Pro135) and recombinant protein (Asn56-Trp158) of canine α-S1- casein... In this study, α-S1-casein was strongly suspected as an amyloid protein of canine MTAA. α-S1-casein is a novel amyloidogenic protein that has not been reported so far. The present data suggest that amyloidogenic factors are due to protein fragmentation rather than mutation."
