- "Our results highlight that environmental mite may act as an external source of PAMPs in vitiligo and topical MMP-9 inhibitors may be useful therapeutic targets. Whether HDM contributes to onset of flares in vitiligo remains to be tested in carefully controlled trials."

Consultants undertook the bulk of virtual clinics, and these appointments resulted in the majority of referrals and prescriptions. Virtual appointments reduce the waiting times for contact with a healthcare professional between appointments. Many patients had several virtual appointments between face to face appointments and this cohort may benefit from more scrutiny."
