(PubMed, Jpn J Ophthalmol) - "After the application of epinastine cream to the eyelid skin, epinastine gradually permeated the eyelid. The compound was retained in the conjunctiva for 8-24 h post-administration, indicating that epinastine cream is a promising long-acting formulation for treating allergic conjunctivitis."

Dietary administration of a postbiotic, heat-killed Pediococcus pentosaceus PP4012 enhances growth performance, immune response and modulates intestinal microbiota of white shrimp, Penaeus vannamei. (PubMed, Fish Shellfish Immunol) - "Unique microbes such as Cohaesibacter was discovered in the shrimp fed IPL while Candidatus Campbellbacteria, uncultured Verrucomicrobium DEV114 and Paenalcaligenes were discovered in the intestines of shrimp fed IPH diet. Collectively, these data suggest that including heat-killed P. pentosaceus, particularly IPH, can enhance growth performance, promote microbial diversity, elevate immune responses, and increase shrimp's resistance to V. parahaemolyticus."

Experiencia latinoamericana en crioablación de fibrilación auricular paroxística y persistente con criobalón de segunda generación. Resultados en agudo y a 12 meses (PubMed, Arch Cardiol Mex) - "El tiempo promedio del procedimiento fue de 73.2 ± 26.7 minutos, el tiempo de fluoroscopia fue de 21.4 ± 23.9 minutos y el tiempo total de ocupación del laboratorio fue de 114.6 ± 41.3 minutos...Veintiún pacientes (9.6%) presentaron eventos adversos relacionados con el procedimiento. Conclusiones: Estos resultados indican que la desconexión de venas pulmonares con criobalón es un tratamiento seguro y efectivo para la FA en América Latina."

Locally Excised T1 Rectal Cancers: Need for Specialized Surveillance Protocols.
