SAFETY AND EFFICACY OF ADVANCED IBD THERAPIES AFTER LIVER TRANSPLANTATION FOR PRIMARY SCLEROSING CHOLANGITIS: A MULTICENTER EXPERIENCE (AASLD 2026) - Oct 6, 2026 - Abstract #1149; Pres time: Nov 5, 2026; 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM; Location: Convention Center: Poster Hall, Hall DE; "The most frequently used agents were vedolizumab (n = 57), infliximab (n = 31), adalimumab (n = 24), ustekinumab (n = 22), risankizumab (n = 12), and upadacitinib (n = 10); 35.3% of patients received ≥3 sequential advanced agents post-LT. In the largest multicenter PSCIBD cohort post-LT, use of advanced therapy was associated with clinical and endoscopic improvement in 82.3% of patients. However, cumulative infections and malignancies were common over long-term follow-up. These findings support advanced therapy as a viable option for IBD after LT for PSC while underscoring the need for vigilant infection surveillance and skin-cancer screening in this immunosuppressed population."
