Afimetoran had a favorable safety profile and was well tolerated. These data indicate that afimetoran, an investigational, equipotent TLR7/8 inhibitor, is pharmacologically active, improves systemic and cutaneous disease activity in SLE, and supports its further development in SLE and CLE."
