Cost Effectiveness Evaluation of Tolerance Induction (WTC 2025) - Jul 30, 2025 - Abstract #P2.07.53; Pres time: Aug 4, 2025; 03:30 PM - 04:30 PM; Location: Exhibit Hall AB; "While conditioning regimen resulted in longer index admission LOS and higher cost of outpatient medication regimen, TR showed non-inferiority in both 30-and 60-day readmission rate with overall shorter readmission LOS. Additionally, outpatient costs were favorable in the CMV negative cohorts, with the higher costs in CMV-positive TRs primarily driven by Letermovir use. Future long-term data will be essential in fully evaluating the cost-effectiveness of tolerance induction, particularly as TRs may ultimately require minimal or no immunosuppressive therapy, potentially offsetting initial costs over time."
