Rapid Reduction of Mycophenolate Mofetil for Treating Cytomegalovirus Infection in Renal Transplant Patients (WTC 2025) - Jul 30, 2025 - Abstract #P2.07.115; Pres time: Aug 4, 2025; 03:30 PM - 04:30 PM; Location: Exhibit Hall AB; "*Purpose: To determine how to adjust immunosuppressants for renal transplant patients with cytomegalovirus infection* In the study, the transplant recipients from a single center, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital from 2015~2024 were included. Although emerging agents for the treatment of CMV, such as Letermovir and marabavir has been use to treatment CMV disease successfully. Rapid reduction of MMF was still crucial in renal transplant patients with CMV infection, which decrease the time with detectable CMV level. While combing reduction of CNI may be potentially beneficial, no statistically significance was noted."
