Peripheral Blood Transcriptomics Reveals a Distinct Immune Network Architecture in Anti-MDA5 Dermatomyositis (ACR Convergence 2026) - Sep 8, 2026 - Abstract #2058; Pres time: Nov 10, 2026; 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Location: WB1&2; In Person; "Peripheral blood transcriptomics revealed that MDA5-DM is characterized by coordinated IFN-associated (Blue), complement/phagocytosis-associated (Black), cytokine/B-cell-associated (Pink), inflammatory stress-response (Red), and regulatory (Green) programs rather than a single IFN-driven pathway. These findings provide a biological rationale for the BRT strategy. Baricitinib may suppress both IFN-associated and macrophage-related inflammatory pathways represented by the Blue and Black modules, rituximab may interrupt B-cell-associated immune amplification within the Pink module, and tacrolimus may further suppress cytokine-dependent immune activation and adaptive immune/fibrosis-related pathways represented by the Pink and Brown modules."
