Targeting Rheumatoid Arthritis with Myeloid-Directed JAK-Inhibiting Nanomedicine (ACR Convergence 2026) - Sep 8, 2026 - Abstract #2028; Pres time: Nov 10, 2026; 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Location: WB1&2; In Person; "Twenty-five days after disease induction, mice were treated with JAKi dendranibs PM84, PM93, PM94, PM113 and PM116 or baricitinib for 14 days, during which clinical arthritis scores were recorded... We report the discovery of H116, a novel DMARD candidate generated by combining the myeloid-selective uptake of HDs with a proprietary JAK-selective compound, that demonstrates superior efficacy in resolving arthritis symptoms in the CIA mouse model. Our work demonstrates a new approach to resolving RA by selectively targeting the innate immune system with the expectation that preserving the adaptive immune function will translate to a substantial reduction of infection burden addressing a critical unmet need in patients for whom current therapies carry unacceptable safety risk.
