Identification of Rheumatoid Arthritis Patient Subsets Responsive to TNF Inhibitory Therapy by Transcriptomic-Based Endotyping of Synovial Tissue (ACR Convergence 2026) - Sep 8, 2026 - Abstract #2036; Pres time: Nov 10, 2026; 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Location: WB1&2; In Person; " Pre-treatment synovial transcriptomic data from 46 adult RA patients initiating TNFi therapy-either etanercept or certolizumab pegol-were employed. Clustering of baseline synovial GSVA scores successfully stratified RA patients into distinct molecular endotypes that associate with treatment outcomes. Successful TNFi treatment is associated with a decrease in expression of TNF gene modules as well as those identifying IFN response genes, Monocytes and activated FSGs. Gene-expression-based endotyping provides a powerful framework to enrich clinical trials for responsive patients and guide personalized, precision medicine strategies in RA."
