Exploring Scolymus hispanicus L. leaves as a source of natural therapeutics: nutritional, phytochemical, and pharmacological evaluations. (PubMed, 3 Biotech) - Jul 3, 2026 - "High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis tentatively identified several phenolic compounds, with chlorogenic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, and protocatechuic acid as major constituents...The results suggest that S. hispanicus represents a promising natural source of bioactive compounds and has potential applications in future studies related to oxidative stress and metabolic disorders. However, further biochemical and toxicological studies are needed to validate these biological effects." Journal • Genetic Disorders • Metabolic Disorders • Obesity
