Chemical Composition and In Vitro Bioactive Potential of Dried Honeybee (Apis mellifera L.) Podmore as a Candidate Functional Food Ingredient. (PubMed, Food Sci Nutr) - Oct 11, 2026 - "HPLC analysis revealed gallic acid (818.06 μg/g) and chlorogenic acid (225.04 μg/g) as the predominant compounds...These findings suggest that dried honeybee podmore may be a promising source of nutritional and bioactive compounds with potential applications in the development of functional foods or nutraceuticals. However, further studies, including safety assessment, bioavailability evaluation, and in vivo validation, are required before its practical application."
