FOSTAMATINIB IN CHRONIC IMMUNE THROMBOCYTOPENIA: A REAL-WORLD MONOCENTRIC EXPERIENCE (SIE 2026) - Oct 6, 2026 - Abstract #DP154; Pres time: Sep 22, 2026; 06:30 PM - 07:30 PM; Location: AREA POSTER; "All patients had been previously treated with corticosteroids (100%), while 21 (48.8%) received eltrombo- pag, 15 (34.9%) rituximab, 13 (30.2%) romiplostim, 8 (18.6%) avatrombopag, 6 (14.0%) splenectomy, 5 (11.6%) azathioprine and 1 (2.3%) cyclosporine A. Twenty-three pa- tients (53.4%) had a concomitant autoimmune diathesis. Fostamatinib proved to be safe and effective in our monocentric experience with a median follow up of about 10 months (16/43 patients with a drug exposure more than a year). The use of fostamatinib as second/third line of treatment led to a significantly more durable response, sup- porting its early use in the ITP treatment algorithm."
