VARIANT HISTOLOGY IN PEDIATRIC NLPBL: FAVOURABLE OUTCOMES WITH R-CHOP INCLUDING EARLY-STAGE DE-ESCALATION (SIOP 2026) - Oct 23, 2026 - Abstract #Shift 02 - 162; Pres time: Sep 17, 2026; Location: Exhibition Area; "Variant histology identifies a higher-risk pediatric NLPBL subgroup with more advanced presentation and increased relapse/progression overall. However, outcomes are excellent with R- CHOP , and variant histology does not appear to adversely affect EFS among R-CHOP–treated patients. Risk-adapted de-escalation may be feasible even in early-stage variant disease— observation after complete resection (stage IA) and reduced-cycle R-CHOP for unresected stage I–II— without an apparent compromise in EFS."
