Lecanemab treatment promotes imaging-defined resolution of neuroinflammation in early Alzheimer's disease: a longitudinal [ 18 F]DPA-714 PET/MR study (EANM 2026) - Sep 29, 2026 - Abstract #OP-383; Pres time: Oct 19, 2026; 09:45 AM - 11:15 AM; Location: Hall F1; "Lecanemab treatment was associated with a robust attenuation of elevated [18F]DPA-714 TSPO signal in early Alzheimer's disease, indicating imaging-defined resolution of neuroinflammatory activity detectable in vivo prior to changes in structural neurodegeneration markers or standard cognitive and functional measures. These findings position TSPO PET/MR as a proximal pharmacodynamic biomarker for capturing early treatment-related changes in glial activation following amyloid-targeting therapy, and support its potential utility in optimizing therapeutic evaluation and trial design in Alzheimer's disease."
