Quantitative Analysis of 177 Lu Urinary Excretion in PRRT Using a Novel Automated 177 Lu Removal System: Correlation with Tumour Burden and the 'Tumour Sink Effect' (EANM 2026) - Sep 29, 2026 - Abstract #OP-100; Pres time: Oct 18, 2026; 09:45 AM - 11:15 AM; Location: Hall C; "Aim/Introduction: In 177Lu-DOTATATE peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT), most administered radionuclide is excreted renally... Urinary 177Lu levels are inherently linked to tumour burden via the tumour sink effect. Since the BSL-177/BSX system captures these levels with exceptionally high efficiency (>95%), the radioactivity adsorbed on the column serves as a precise surrogate for total excretion. This confirms that BSL-177/BSX-measured activity can be used as a reliable clinical indicator for simplified dosimetry and as a predictive factor for discharge criteria."
