The radiobiological effects of FAP-targeted radionuclide therapy on patient-derived cancer-associated fibroblasts (EANM 2026) - Sep 29, 2026 - Abstract #EP-0084; "FAP-TRT using FAP-2286 induces cell death in 3T3-FAP cells, while in more physiologically relevant patient-derived CAFs, senescence is induced rather than cell death. This indicates that the radiobiological effects of FAP-TRT depend on the model system. In ongoing work, additional functional alterations of CAFs upon FAP-TRT are studied, as well as the therapeutic potential of alpha-emitters."
